BUYER GUIDE
Make Datum your own.
A practical setup guide for the native pages, service collection, resource articles, and enquiry builder.
01 / Copy and edit
Copy the project into your Framer workspace. Edit the Phone navigation, Action button, and Question components from Assets. Update the shared colour and text styles. The style guide shows the design system and component examples.
02 / Replace the service content
Open CMS, then Services. Edit the name, slug, summary, instruments, work location, on-site flag, preparation, reporting, and enquiry points. The directory and service pages use this collection. Replace sample capabilities with information your business can support.
03 / Add useful resources
Open CMS, then Resources. Each guide has a category, summary, and three heading and text sections. Edit the four sample guides or add your own. Review their links in the resource library.
04 / Configure the builder
Select EquipmentBuilder on the enquiry page. Edit its service options and colours in the properties panel. Keep the options aligned with the Services CMS. The optional Business email control adds an Open email draft link. It does not send automatically.
05 / Use the CSV format
The builder accepts service, instrument, model, serial, range, and quantity columns. Service and instrument are required. Use whole quantities from 1 to 10,000. Import no more than 50 rows in a file under 256 KB. Import replaces the current list. Data stays in browser memory.
06 / Test before publishing
Check phone, tablet, and desktop layouts with your own content. Test the menu, search, filters, list view, questions, CSV import, and all exports. Test your actual contact method. Update page titles, descriptions, and privacy content. The demonstration pages exclude search engine indexing. Change that setting for your live pages.
Hosting and purchase scope
Framer supports a free preview address. A custom domain needs a separate paid Framer hosting plan. The template licence covers one business website. Template support covers defects and the setup guide. It does not include a custom website build, laboratory advice, or an external integration.
