Identify each instrument
Use one row for each instrument or group of identical instruments. Record the instrument name, manufacturer, model, serial number, and asset reference where available. Keep quantities separate from the model number. A clear list helps the service firm understand what you want it to review.
Describe the work you use it for
Add the working range and units used in your process. Include the test points or checks that matter to your work. Tell the service firm about accessories, displays, leads, fittings, or software that form part of the instrument. Confirm which items it needs before sending equipment.
Review the list before sharing
Check that names and quantities match the equipment you plan to send. Remove confidential customer or production information that is not needed for the enquiry. The Datum builder can import a CSV list and export text, CSV, or JSON. It prepares files locally. It does not send them.
Planning aid only. The real service firm must confirm the work, preparation, and handling instructions.
